BLENDING
Desmondi has the capacity to rectify 5 tons of flour per hour. Alternatively it can also blend soup, milk, soya, cold drink powder and other dry goods at a similar rate.
CONTRACT PACKAGING
Desmondi’s packaging facility has the capacity to pack from 500g to 25kg in either branded or white label packaging.
WAREHOUSING
Desmondi’s warehousing capacity exceeds 1 000 square meters. The facility is accredited with the following certificates of compliance:
- Certificate of Acceptability (COA) for Food Premises from the City of Tshwane, Health Department, Municipal Health Services.
- Certificate of Compliance (COC), Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety Act 85 of 1993.
- PPECB Certificate of Compliance: Dry Storage Facility.
- PPECB Certificate of Compliance: Off-Farm Packhouse.
- SANHA Certification by South African National Halaal Authority.
DISTRIBUTION
Cost effective delivery requires a fleet of vehicles that not only deal with bulk transport, i.e. 34 tonnes and above, but a fleet also capable of bulk break. Our fleet consist of a range of vehicles including 34 tonnes, 24 tonnes, 16 tonnes, 8 tonnes, 1.5 tonnes, and 1.3 tonnes.

The Desmondi client base stretches across various sectors, including but not limited to government, mining, feeding schemes, correctional service, manufacturing, wholesale, and retail.
